On private cases (not legally aided) Tilson solicitor’s hourly rates for a senior partner are:

• £350 per hour + VAT.
• Routine telephone calls made and received on behalf of the client are charged at £20 per item.
• Routine letters written or received on behalf of a client are charged at £20 per item.
• Non-routine telephone calls and letters are charged at our hourly rate pro rata.

We are able to offer fixed fees for our work.

Fixed fee is agreed with the client at the beginning of the case.  We offer fixed fees for Magistrates court and Crown court cases.

The fixed fees vary depending on the complexity of the case, the expected length of the case, and the seniority of counsel/advocate that the client wants to instruct.
